The Yearbook is a side mission that becomes available to Jimmy after he passes Photography 2.
During free roam, Jimmy can take pictures of a student. When a picture of a student is successfully taken, it is added to the Yearbook.
There is a total of 61 pictures Jimmy needs to collect to complete the Yearbook. Upon completion, he is rewarded $300 and the Black Ninja Outfit, in addition to getting closer to 100% completion.
Obtaining Pictures
Upon unlocking the Yearbook, the pictures of Jimmy, Pete and Russell are immediately added to it.
Be reminded that Derby, Johnny, Earnest, Ted and Gary do not normally appear in free roam, while Zoe cannot normally be interacted until Chapter V is reached. For this purpose, below is how to obtain their respective pictures.
Derby's picture
Obtained by passing Dishonorable Fight in Chapter II. However, his picture can also be taken during the mission.
Johnny's picture
Obtained by passing Fighting Johnny Vincent in Chapter III. However, his picture can also be taken during Jealous Johnny or Wrong Part of Town.
Earnest's picture
Obtained by passing Nerd Boss Fight in Chapter IV. However, his picture can also be taken during Wrong Part of Town before taking Algie to Earnest and Cornelius.
Ted's picture
Obtained by passing Jock Boss Fight in Chapter IV. However, his picture can also be taken during the mission.
Gary's picture
Obtained by passing Final Showdown in Chapter V. However, his picture can also be taken during Wrong Part of Town.
Zoe's picture
Can be taken during any of her appearances in Chapter V, but mostly only during the missions. Once Chapter 6 is reached, she can be found roaming the campus, making it much easier to take her picture.

Trivia
- The official strategy guide erroneously lists Bryce as a non-clique student as opposed to a Preppy.[1] This error may be caused by someone's deduction based on how the Preppies behave while at the boxing club, as Bryce can be found there in his wrestler outfit, and he can be attacked and knocked out without angering the other Preppies.
- Dan has his yearbook picture based on a beta version. He wears a windbreaker and poses with his arms folded. In the Wii version and in the Anniversary Edition, his picture was changed to look just like the other students.[2]
- Derby's placement in the yearbook is improper, suggesting that his name was "Darby" in the beta. This is actually confirmed by what is shown in
default.ide.[3] - Constantinos' name is shortened as "Const." in all game versions, except for the Anniversary Edition, where his name is written in full.
- In the beta, the yearbook may not have been unlocked after passing Photography 2, but it could have been unlocked by an errand performed for Angie. Unused speech files confirm this. Strangely, they also hint that teachers were to be involved, implying that all of them would have appeared in free roam.[4][5]
